Not Today
M*WA in Ethiopia didn't issue an opinion on our case. It is a necessary piece of information needed before you can pass court there. So now we wait until our new court date, January 14th. BUMMER.
Oh, no! So sorry you didn't make it the first time. That would have been wonderful. Trusting in God's timing and that the details He is working out are beneficial to your entire family and future.
I'm so sorry to hear about your court date! Your family will be in my prayers - hang in there. I want to also let you know that your blog and story has been very encouraging to my family... I have been following your blog for a long time. It was amazing to watch the journey to your daughters. At that time, I was still hoping and praying that some day I would be in your position. We have three bio children and am and finally able to say that we are now waiting for our referral from Ethiopia! We hope to adopt a preschool age girl. I appreciate you sharing your story - it has been more encouraging than you know. Please know that you are changing lives even when you don't know it! The ripple effect of adoption amazes me... I can't wait for our family to be a part of it! Blessings to you and your beautiful famly. Best wishes for your next court date - you will be in my prayers, Deena
I am the wife of 20 years to the love of my life and have nine beautiful children; all at home again! Two have been adopted domestically, and five are from Ethiopia. We homeschool, private school, and public school. I love the Lord and have a huge heart for the plight of the orphan and adoptions awareness.
