We have successfully survived waiting 7 weeks! Woo Hoo! I haven't posted recently since our house has resembled more of a medical clinic than a home. Two of us were down with the stomach bug including myself. I even won a trip to the ER for IV fluids! Then three days later, I had oldest son in the same ER for a sports injury that he received during his Lacrosse game. I joke that they are going to keep a room reserved for our family at all times! We are all on the mend now thankfully and are well into the swing of spring sports and waiting for that referral!
We have the pleasure of meeting with some Gladney staff for dinner this Friday night in DC as they will be there for a conference. We are so excited to meet our own Mary T in person as well at Natalie Bowen and Scott Brown. How Cool!
That's about it for us these days. I'm trying to stay busy enough to not obsess but not so busy to go nuts! I'm also just enjoying our family as we are today and sitting at the Lord's feet, knowing His timing is perfect, and waiting for His good and perfect gifts for us from afar! :-)
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

You're on a roll! Trips to the ER will definitely help pass the time. :) Hang in there! I can't say it gets any easier but you learn to manage better.
