Just in case you're just tuning in, we passed court on the last possible day before court closure. Praise the Lord! We were on our way to WV to go camping and had very little cell phone coverage. Mary T from Gladney had to leave me a message with the great news! Crazy huh? Then I had to drive 30 minutes from our camping spot down a narrow country road up in the mountains and dance around a parking lot just to try to get cell phone coverage to hook up with Gladney and the travel agency to make travel arrangements all week! Isn't it funny how the Lord had us wait until the last possible moment and then he plops me right in the middle of nowhere when I need to make travel arrangements? No cell phone....no internet....no electricity! Ahhhhhh....more of the refining process that He continues to take me through to remind me that all that I need is Him. That's it. NOTHING else. He has all of the details taken of. Matthew 6:25-34 discusses how we tend to worry when He has it all figured out. It ends with: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Ain't that the truth!
On another note, please keep the Gladney families that did not make it through court before the closure in your prayers. More of us "left behinders" were left behind again than made it through. I am so sad for them and my heart just aches for them. If this is your family, please know that you are on my heart and in my prayers continuously. I was praying and crying out to the Lord for you the other night and I was given these verses for you:
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seeds for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow. This will be for the Lord's renown, for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed." Isaiah 55:8-13
Please let me know if I can deliver anything to your sweet children waiting for you. I would be honored.
Blessings,
Kristy
