While We Wait

Well, things in S-ville keep on keeping on as we wait for news that our girls are officially ours! :) Since the 19th, we've had Hubby's Birthday, our 18th Anniversary, a wonderful Memorial Day camping trip, and we will celebrate youngest daughter's (in the home) 11th birthday on Friday! Next stop, preparations for oldest daughter's high school graduation on June 19th! On top of that, we hired a new Nurse Manager to take my place and I have been busy training her. My last day of work will be June 12th! Woo Hoo! Regarding our Ethiopian beauties that we so desperately want to bring home, they are both doing great and I have been blessed to receive lots of pictures and updates from traveling families. Thank you! My neighborhood threw a shower for older daughter B on the 19th. Oh, it was just so sweet and B got some of the neatest gifts...I think that she is set! Today, I have the pleasure of having a luncheon with some of my best girlfriends ever and Baby girl H will get her very cool (and safe) pink car seat. Then, tonight, my coworkers are throwing a shower for the girls as well! What a blessing! Between all of these showers and all of the wonderful clothing that so many people have handed down for the girls, I think that all that we need are....THE GIRLS!!!!! :-)
"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." Psalm 37:4-7a

I'm trying to wait patiently with you, but I can't wait to see pictures of your girls. I'll be praying that you hear something soon.

With Love,
Penelope

Wow--that sounds like a wonderful way to wait--lots of showers and presents! What wonderful people you must live around to be so helpful and supportive!
