Meeting New Friends

This past Saturday, we had the huge blessing of meeting a wonderful group of new friends with one BIG thing in common.....Ethiopian adoption! Several families have already brought their children home while the rest of us soaked up all of the information that we could get out of them! It is so exciting to build a local community of people that are going through the exact same ups and downs that we are. It is heartwarming to know that when our children do come home, they will have other children that they can really relate to! Isn't God so good?!?!?!
On the waiting front.....nothing new, just waiting for that I-171H. Since it has only been two weeks, I am trying not to look too needy and neurotic when our mail comes. I do the cool, calm, and collected walk to the mailbox, and ever so gently look through the mail...just in case..... Now, check back in a month. That is when the poor postman will probably refuse to deliver mail in my entire court anymore for fear of the crazy woman standing AT the mailbox day after day with the wild look in her eyes! :o)
