6 more days and we are on an airplane going to get the three sweetest kiddos in Ethiopia! Are we ever blessed!
And now.....on to the BIG BIG news....the YETI (you have to name something this substantial!) has arrived here in Schnabelville. We found this little hot rod and it is now offically ours! Yes, be verrryyyyy jealous! :-) As we were signing the paperwork on this beauty and as I was saying goodbye to my beloved Suburban, I looked at my husband and said "This is my sacrifice for our family." He lovingly said, "I know." Funny thing is, my kids LOVE this. When I picked up my 14yo at his bus stop today and surprised him with the Yeti, I was sure that he was going to act like he didn't even know me and keep walking. Nope...he was jumping up and down all excited! So me & my peeps (5 kiddos of course) loaded up in the Yeti tonight and went for a joy ride, a little spin around our small town. Then we headed to the elementary school parking lot so that I could practice parking this bad boy! The good news? You too can have a white van EXACTLY like this.....I will even share my hotrod's name, the Yeti, with you. I am sure that there are atleast 1,000 for sale in the US at any given moment. Happy Shopping! :-)

Oh yeah - join the club! We call ours "The Behemoth" Job 40:15 - Just wait until everyone assumes you are a church group :). Praise God - He provides! (I still can't park my bad boy very well)
The things we do for love.... Happy and safe traveling and keep us posted as often as you can!!
Wow, that is really, really BIG! And I love the name. I don't suppose there's room for more than 9 children?? :)
Kristy,
I LOVE it! It makes me smile, especially knowing it is full of family and love!
Praise God!!! I think it's BEA-utiful! Knowing full well the purpose for it.
Praying almost daily for one of those fam vans for our family!
Enjoy. Can't help but sing the song..."get your motor running. Get out on the highway. Looking for adventure,in whatever comes 'our' way...Born to be Wiiild!"
Wild times are coming when a family is blessed by the Almighty God!!!
I am laughing SOOO Hard! Hubby tried so hard to convince me to buy one of these and I just couldn't. With four, I can still manage in my extended Ford Expedition. Ok...somewhat cool....just can't do the van thing...you are a BETTER women than me!!!!
Thinking of you and your three in ET. I absolutely can't wait for you to hold them.
Almost!!!
LOVE IT!

Here I sit in the dentist chair, mouth full of novacaine and a face that feels as if I'm trying to scare children at halloween. I decide to look at my beautiful wife's blog and can't help but laugh at our new monster truck myself. I voted for the new tags to read IS9ENUF but I think Kristy may choose YETI. That makes me think we should practice the Chewbakkah sound from Star Wars. You remember Chewy, right? I must confess that my wife's new rig is bigger than my truck, and that our local Western Loudoun "Good-ole-boys" see her coming and look on with total awe and slight intimidation. We leave for Ethiopia in 4 days, and we can now say we'll only need 1 vehicle to ride home from the airport. One of the comments asked if there was room for more than 9. Well there's 13 seats behind Kristy and I, so if God says yes there's room for more, than I will agree there is also room for more. Thanks for your prayers everyone. Steve Schnabel
wow! praying for your trip and the addition of 3 more! what an inspiration you all are! YETI and all!
Have a wonderful trip back to Ethiopia. Blessings to you all,
The Waltons
