It Has Arrived!

Yes folks, we got it...the international adoption equivalent the Golden Ticket...we received our I 171H in the mail today! Oh what a glorious day! If I weren't down with a bug that my youngest son was so sweet so share with me, I would be doing the happy dance all over the place right about now! If I had the energy, I would do some jumps in honor of my blogger pal Tara just for this occasion! So hubby came home early and we got our notary and sent it off to be Authenticated. I am hopeful that I will have it back by Saturday. Then the Dossier will head to Gladney for final review and then we will be on the waitlist for referral! Yippeeee! On another note, the medical supplies that I sent to another Gladney family just made it them yesterday and they leave for Ethiopia tomorrow! That wasn't stressful at all! :-) I am so thankful that they made it there in time and am also thankful that another little one in the world will get to know his Mommy and Daddy in the next couple of days. Oh, what a sweet blessing!
A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones." Proverbs 15:30
That's just what I needed to help me feel better...good news! :-)
Have a blessed week!

Oh how I remember receiving both of ours for both of our children. For some reason that piece of paper can cause us to do things we never normally would. Congrats!

how stinkin' exciting!!!!!! I'm so happy for you guys! I'm still waiting on the crazy fingerprinting appointment. How long did it take you to get the fingerprints after they got your homestudy?

Awesome, you are getting closer. I loved having the whole stack out of our hands. It's funny, now when people ask me about certain steps earlier in the process, they are already a blur. Hope all our waiting is a blur soon, too.

Take care,
Sharon

Congratulations! It's great to make it through all that paperwork. Now you can rest awhile until the referral comes.
Best Wishes,

Praise Him! Isn't that a rush to see that in the mail?! It is funny because I just read Proverbs 15 today and pointed out that verse to my kids - its a good one for all of us.
Rejoicing with you,
Joy from AZ
