Moving Right Along.......

My goodness, has another week flown by? I just realized that it has been a week since I posted! I can only hope that once we are on the waitlist for referral, that the weeks will fly by so quickly!
I sent 18 documents to the VA Sec of State for Authentication this week and they are already on their way back to us! We should receive them on Monday.
That leaves only three more documents to Authenticate: The home study agency's license since their current one expires on 1/2/08, our letter on why we want to adopt from Ethiopia, and the infamous I-171H.
I have no idea why we had such a hard time with our letter! We probably wrote and rewrote that letter 10 times! It was crazy but we felt that this letter was the main way for us to tell Ethiopia our hearts and why we would possibly want more children if we already had four...especially three more! :-) But, somehow, we finished and merged each of our letters into one letter and had it notarized today...finally!
We received our fingerprints notice from USCIS yesterday! Woo Hoo! That is scheduled for January 12th which is a HUGE praise since Daddio leaves for a business trip soon!
On top of all of that, oldest dauhter got her driver's license yesterday! Go oldest daughter!.....but not too fast! :-)
So much going on......I am sure that your life is just as busy. Just remember to take time to slow down during this holiday season and ponder the reason for the season...the birth of Jesus and the greatest gift of all....the sacrifice that He made for us all.........AMAZING!
Merry Christmas my dear family, friends, and blog buddies! Love to you all!
"But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today, in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11-12
