Many of you have asked, "how many, how old, boys or girls?" We just don't know. We want to leave that up to the Lord. (Though we did put a plug in for an infant/toddler to be in the mix.) :-) We do know that He has called us to embark on this great and wonderful journey. Ethiopia has their guidelines on how many children we can adopt based on how many children are in the home. Gladney, the adoption agency that we are using, has certain "rules" regarding birth order and ages between siblings, and the Home Study agency will have to approve our home for a certain number of siblings as well. However, I feel like if the Lord is specifically calling us to bring home 2 or 3 or however many, that He will enable that to happen. My youngest son LOVES Lilo and Stitch. In the words of Lilo, "Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind. Or forgotten." That is my heart. To have the family that the Lord is calling us to have and that no one gets left behind for ANY reason. Please pray all of the factors listed above, including Daddio and I, to be open to the Lord's plan for our family.
