Well, it has been a great week for many families in Gladney land. Lots of referrals, lots of courts dates, and lots of families passing court.....just not us.
It seems that the organization that issues opinions gave no consideration to the dates that families were originally logged in court so it has been painful to watch so many families logged into court after us pass through court this week. Don't get me wrong, I am glad for them, just sad for us.
We know that it really is all in the Lord's hands and in His time, but honestly, we are still struggling this week. We are clinging to this verse:
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
Please pray for us and that we finally get that long awaited phone call from Mary T early next week letting us know that this long wait is over, and the girls are officially ours!

I'm sad for you, too. I know this has to be painful. Praying so hard that you'll get through next week... and that you'll be on a plane soon to get your sweet ones...

I completely know how you feel! I have been there and felt those very feelings. We are prayinf for you and that it will finaly happen this coming week!!
I keep checking your blog to see when it will be your time. I am praying for you and your sweet girls. It will happen and when it does we will celebrate for you and them.

We are hoping and praying that you will here word ASAP from Mary. That must be very challenging for sure. SOON...... :)
I will be praying for you this week. We are still waiting too. We received our referral on January 23 and didn't get a court date until May 26th. You are completely right that it is in God's perfect timing--we are trusting in His timing too. However, I know we also hurt and are anxious to hold Isaac. If I try to figure out the whys of all of the delays, it is so easy for Satan to get a foothold. I just have to trust that God's will and His plan are perfect and that He knows all and see all and that I can't. He strength is perfect and I pray that you will mightily feel it this week.
